Municipal Public Health Complex 34 basically reconstructed at Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative in Pirshaghy settlement of Baku was launched

Municipal Public Health Complex 34 basically reconstructed at Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative in Pirshaghy settlement of Baku was launched on February 25.

Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, attended the opening ceremony.

Mrs Aliyeva was warmly welcomed and presented flowers.

She cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening and toured the Complex.

Reconstruction of medical institutions in Azerbaijan and supporting their logistics, use of advanced technologies in the field and training of new personnel is priority to Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its president Mehriban Aliyeva. To lift the quality of medical service, Mrs Aliyeva pays special attention to the reconstruction of medical institutions, protection of mother and baby health. Necessary programmes and projects implemented in the sphere on M.Aliyeva’s initiative make huge contributions to the development of public health in Azerbaijan.

The First Lady was informed a dispensary operated in the building in the 1980s. Reconstruction works started in last February provided additional and first aid buildings to the Complex. The establishment of public health services consisting of 39 rooms was provided with all necessary conditions for high quality health services. The Complex has been equipped with the modern medical appliances made in Italy, Turkey, Germany and Korea.

M.Aliyeva visited pediatrician’s and otolaryngologist’s rooms, viewed a new device called otolaryngologist’s combine. Surgery room has been equipped with anesthetic device, cardiomonitor measuring pulse and arterial pressure during operation, electroshock, medical infusion devices. Dentist’s room has latest equipments, including Dentson apparatus.

Ophthalmologist’s room has Tomey apparatus, electrocardiogram, 3-function ultrasound examination devices. The Complex includes a physiotherapy room for laser and magnet therapy and a vaccination room.

The First Lady viewed stand ‘Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s gifts for Sabuncu district’.

The stand reflects pictures of the social objects constructed with support of the Foundation such as Boarding School 11 and Kindergarten 231 in Bilgah settlement, Kurdakhany Health Centre, Tebessum Children’s Sanatorium 21 in Mashtagha settlement, new building of Secondary School 21 in Pirshaghy settlement.

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban ALIYEVA said in the ceremony:

I once again congratulate you.

The Complex is amazing. I was familiarized. There is everything here to solve health problems of patients. All specialists have cabinets, equipment is state-of-the-art.

Now, you should look after patients very well. And conditions for doctors must be good. Very nice circumstances have been created here. I twice congratulate you on this occasion. I hope all medical institutions in our country will be on this level. For the past years, a lot of new hospitals, diagnostics centers are built, old ones repaired. It is very good. It will go on this way.

Kurdakhany Health Centre’s Chief Physician Esmeralda Abdullayeva expressed gratitude to Mehriban Aliyeva for the care to medical employees. Talking of construction of new medical objects in the capital and regions, she assured the First Lady the high-level medical service will further be provided to population.

Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized herself with First Aid Station 14 under the Complex. The Station will have 14-person medical staff.

Then, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation viewed the stand displaying the plan for development of Pirshaghy settlement.

Proposals were presented for solution of problems in the settlement.

M.Aliyeva said proposals will be studied and corresponding works done to improve the center of Pirshaghy, one of the most ancient settlements of Baku on the coast of Caspian.

The First Lady expressed satisfaction of the works performed and gave recommendations.
