Forum "Dialogue of cultures in globalization” held in Baku closed

2-day forum "Dialogue of cultures in globalization” held in Baku at the initiative of Mrs Leila Aliyeva, Head of Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Delegation in Russia, was closed on June 30.

Held at Baku Business Centre and dedicated to the memory of outstanding politician, national leader Heydar Aliyev, the Forum was attended by renowned Azeri and Russian scholars. In the second day of the event reports were delivered on the themes such as “Dialogue of civilizations in the dialogue of cultures”, “Democracy, society and once again on the role of personality in history”, “Individual parameters of democratic values in modern society”, “Humanitarian education in Russia in globalization”, “Dialogue as a comprehension of identity of others”, “Intercultural dialogue is the basis to the sustainable development in globalization”, “Philosophy of unity and contemporary science”, “Interaction between the culture of thinking in globalization”, “Unity and diversity of cultures: Islam in the context of culture in Nijegorod Region”.

Report “Heydar Aliyev – the man and politician” by Russia’s Honor Figure of Science, professor Konstantin Dolgov aroused deep interest among the conferees. The rapporteur talked of the huge works great leader Heydar Aliyev did for the development of transport sphere as First Deputy Chairman of the Soviet of Ministers of USSR, his care to culture, his meetings with the national leader in the course of scientific studies. He said a patriot, genius person as Heydar Aliyev, who did his best for the happy future of his nation, is always honored by people.

The Forum attendees finalized the action with adoption of a special resolution.
