Heydar Aliyev Museum opened in Ceyhan, Turkey

Ceremony of opening of Heydar Aliyev Museum created in Ceyhan, Turkey due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation took place, May 14.

 

Prior to the ceremony, visitors from Baku and members of Ceyhan Municipality laid flowers on the monument of Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan-Turkey Brotherhood Park.

 

Addressing the ceremony Deputy Chairman of State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living in Foreign Countries Valeh Hajiyev said Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline, which is the best sample of the oil strategy of great leader Heydar Aliyev, has become the bridge of brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Heydar Aliyev Museum that will operate here is another sign of respect to the memory of the genius person of the Turkish world. Head of Ceyhan Municipality Hussein Sozlu talked of great importance of BTC oil pipeline in socio-economic development of the region.

 

Representatives of Ceyhan Municipality, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Turkey Zakir Hashimov and Consul General to Istanbul Seyyad Aran were familiarized with the Museum’s exhibits.

 

Participants of the ceremony were acquainted with 162 photographs and books about life and action of the national leader presented to the Museum by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

The ceremony was continued by concert of singer Azerin and band Jengi in Azerbaijan-Turkey Brotherhood Park.
