President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva visits International Center for Children with Speech and Hearing Impairments in Warsaw
President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva, who is accompanying President Ilham Aliyev on his official visit to Warsaw, visited February 26 the International Center for Children with Speech and Hearing Impairments in Warsaw.
First Lady of Azerbaijan was informed about what the Center is doing to help children with visual and hearing impairments, its projects, was familiarized with circumstances here.
She also saw at the conference hall of the Center a video about works done here.
Then, Mehriban Aliyeva was closely familiarized with the Center which is part of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing. 11,000 people, over 6,000 of who undergo surgery, are treated at the Institute located 20 km away from Warsaw.
Afterwards, the Azerbaijani First Lady signed the Center’s Guest Book and had her photo taken together with its personnel.
