Building of Computer Learning Center built in Georgia on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation opened

Building of the Computer Learning Center built in Dmanisi District, Georgia on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation was opened on June 15.


First, participants of the event laid wreath and flowers on the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the park named after the great leader in Tbilisi.

 

National anthems of Azerbaijan and Georgia were played in the opening ceremony of the building of Computer Learning Center. Governor of Kvemo-Kartli-Borchaly region David Kirkiladze, Secretary General of the Georgian National Movement Party in power, MP Zurab Melikashvili, Education Minister Givi Nodiya, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Namig Aliyev, Executive Director of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Elekberov, MP Ganira Pashayeva talked in the event of importance of care to education, stressing the Center will play a significant role in this field. They stated the state of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, Member of Milli Mejlis Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva render special attention to problems of Azerbaijanis living in foreign countries and opening of this center is the sign of that attention.

 

The building of the Center construction of which began in late last year within the project of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which attaches huge importance to education, meets the very modern standards. There is big portrait of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the lobby of the 2-floor building, as well a photo corner reflecting actions of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, Member of Milli Mejlis Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva. Supplied with a modern heat system the Center has classrooms, 2 big halls, library, secondary rooms, canteen, teachers room equipped with furniture and appliances. Roads to the Center have been asphalted, green area created nearby.

 

All 70 computers in the Center have directly been connected to Internet and gratis computer lessons will be given here to both Azeri and Georgian children. Besides, children of both nations will be taught here English language and Azerbaijanis will learn Georgian language. 

 

Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided books, textbooks, CDs and DVDs to the Center.

 

The ceremony was continued by concert of the Azerbaijani and Georgian singers.
