Participants of VII Session of General Assembly of Turkish-speaking countries news agencies union held in Baku visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Guests were informed of objectives and activities of the Foundation established in memory of national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

They were told while leading the country the national leader paid special attention to relations with Turkish-speaking countries.

Visitors were impressed by exhibits taken from the archive of the outstanding statesman and political figure reflecting separate eras of his activity.

They highly appreciated projects realized on the initiative and under leadership of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP. 

Guests signed the Foundation’s Guest Book.

CEO of Anadolu Agency of Turkey Hilmi Bengi shared his impressions on the Foundation, saying the history does not easily raise great statesmen. Exhibits here evidently show that working all his life long in the high offices Heydar Aliyev reached the summit of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people. He expressed delight of familiarization with the Foundation.

President of Kazinform Agency of Kazakhstan Dauren Diyarov said ‘Familiarization with the Foundation shows the big love of great leader of the Turkish world Heydar Aliyev for the people. Exhibits here are ground to say the people of Azerbaijan can be proud of such a genius personality. Heydar Aliyev was the founder of modern independent state of Azerbaijan. Peace and progress in present Azerbaijan is the fruit of intellect and work of Heydar Aliyev’.
