President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on July 3.

He was warmly welcomed here by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, Member of Milli Mejlis Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva.

President Ilham Aliyev informed the distinguished guest of objectives of the Foundation established in memory of the national leader of Azerbaijan, exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity.

The Russian President was familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-famous politicians, books about the national leader, views said by world-famous figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, saw photos taken in meetings with leaders of various countries.

Dmitry Medvedev signed the Foundation’s Guest Book.

He was presented a souvenir.

The distinguished guest left the Foundation under rich impressions.
