A delegation led by Chairman of Pakistan Senate’s Foreign Relations Permanent Committee Mushahid Said visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

A delegation led by Chairman of Pakistan Senate’s Foreign Relations Permanent Committee Mushahid Said visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, July 9th.

 

Foundation’s executive director Anar Alakbarov informed the guests of the objectives of the Foundation established in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

 

Members of the delegation familiarized themselves with exhibits taken from the private archive of the national leader and covering various periods of his activity, documents reflecting different moments of phenomenal person Heydar Aliyev and giving a broad idea about the whole period of our history. Showing special interest to photo stands reflecting the large-scale activity of eminent historic figure Heydar Aliyev, the guests were informed that our national leader had always showed great attention the development of relations with Pakistan.

 

It was informed that the primary objective of the Foundation has been studying and promoting the rich heritage of Heydar Aliyev, giving idea to future generations and foreign guests of the wide-ranging activity aimed at Azerbaijan’s social-economic and cultural progress, supporting works carried out in connection with broad promotion of the Azerbaijani culture and history. The Foundation has also been implementing large-scale projects and contributes to realization of the eminent political figure’s dreams.

 

The guests were informed of the activity of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, member of the Milli Majlis Mehriban Aliyeva. It was noted that  a school building was constructed and put into operation, on Mehriban Aliyeva’s personal initiative, in Rara area of Pakistan’s Muzaffarabad city. Built by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Pakistan,  this building will be the first education hotbed built by the Foundation abroad in the framework of “Support to Education” Program.

 

Head of the delegation Mushahid Huseyn Said wrote heartfelt words in the Memory Book.

 

The guests were presented the “Singers of Garabagh” music album published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

Members of the Pakistani delegation left the Foundation with pleasant and rich impressions.
