Delegation of Greece-Azerbaijan friendship group visits the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

A delegation led by chairman of the Greek inter-parliamentary group of friendship with Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan (Azerbaijan Parliament) Harakopoulos Makhimos has visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, 24 January.

The visitors were given detailed information on the purposes of the Foundation created as a token of respect of memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, the exhibits taken from personal archive of the great leader and covering the separate periods of his activity. They have familiarized with the documents reflecting the various moments of the life of phenomenal person Heydar Aliyev, recreating wide representation about the whole period of Azerbaijan`s history, the gifts, the known politicians presented to him, books about the Great Leader.

Members of parliament of Greece have shown special interest to the documents reflecting large-scale activity in Moscow of the outstanding politician as one of leaders of former USSR.

The visitors have been informed, that the basic purpose of Foundation consists in studying and propagation of the rich heritage of outstanding personality, evident representation about the large-scale activity of the national leader directed on socio-economic, cultural progress of Azerbaijan. The Foundation also carries out large projects, gives contribution to realization of desires of the great leader.

Head of delegation was presented a book on Foundation`s activities.
