Georgian delegation visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Delegation of reps of Georgian parliament, state and local self-governing bodies, paying a visit to the country on the 84th anniversary of birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, visited on May 10 grave of the great leader in Honor Alley, expressed respect of the Georgian people to the genius person.

Then, delegation visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation. They were informed of history and goals of the Foundation established in memory of national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.

Georgian guests, attentively viewing the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity, numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, saw also photos reflecting actions of Heydar Aliyev in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, model of territories BTC main export oil pipeline, the peak of new oil strategy of Azerbaijan, crosses.

They stated prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev is always honored in neighbor Georgia.

Georgian visitors were informed main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also carries out wide-scale projects, gives contribution to realization of desires of the outstanding figure of politics.

Members of delegation were presented copies of collection ‘Realities of Garabagh’, talking of barbarisms of Armenian armed forces, published by the Foundation.
