First Lady of Azerbaijan awarded Prize ‘for Global Promotion of Dialog Among Civilizations’

Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, has been awarded Prize ‘For Global Promotion of Dialog among Civilizations’ of Youth Forum of OIC.

Head of the Forum Ali Sarykaya presented the award on April 27. According to him ‘Adopting the decision large-scale public actions of Mrs Aliyeva for last years, essential projects she carries out as President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in fields such education, culture, healthcare, ecology etc, her active actions in international organizations such as UNESCO and ISESCO, in short, her valuable contributions to dialog and cooperation among civilizations, connection of various cultures’. Just for such a fruitful activity the First Lady of Azerbaijan was awarded this prize upon decision of Board of the Forum adopted in the sitting on last September 2.   

Expressing gratitude for sincere words and valuable award Mehriban Aliyeva underlined importance of close participation of the youth of the Islamic world in public-political processes, said Heydar Aliyev Foundation will support every initiative by youth.
