President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation on August 13.

President of Azerbaijan sincerely welcomed the Tajik President. Guests first watched a documentary on activities and projects of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Then, President of Tajikistan was informed of action of the Foundation established in memory of national leader of Azeri people. It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history.

President Ilham Aliyev gave detailed information to the Tajik President on the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader, reflecting separate eras of his activity

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon was familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, books on the great leader, views of world-famous figures of politics, science, culture and art about the architect and constructor of independent state of Azerbaijan, saw photos the national leader took with them in various meetings.

Presidents also saw a model of BTC oil pipeline. President of Tajikistan signed Guest Book of the Foundation, expressed his deep respect in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, noted the people of Tajikistan always recalls the care the great leader rendered to it, wished success to the Foundation in its valuable activity for progress of state of Azerbaijan.

Emomali Rahmon was presented souvenirs.

Azeri and Tajik Presidents viewed Baku from the Foundation’s balcony.

The distinguished guest expressed his rich impression of familiarization with the Foundation.
