Delegation led by Marianito Rok, head of Administration of Philippines for Social Security of Laborers Living Abroad visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Delegation led by Marianito Rok, head of Administration of Philippines for Social Security of Laborers Living Abroad, paying a visit to the country, visited September 18 Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Guests were informed of establishment, goals and action of the Foundation. It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history.

For last 2 years nearly 200 schools were built and commissioned in all regions and remotest villages of the republic, supplied with necessary appliances on the initiative of the Foundation. The Foundation has also performed several projects in field of healthcare, development of science, culture, application of IT, also closely cooperates with international organizations.

Marianito Rok and delegation saw the museum of the Foundation. Guests, attentively viewing the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity, numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, highly assessed that outstanding political figure Heydar Aliyev attached great importance to establishment of friendly ties with Asian, Eastern countries while working in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR government.  

Visitors expressed rich impression of familiarization with the Foundation.

Marianito Rok was presented a book on activities of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2004-07.
