One more school building was put into operation in Zagatala following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

A new school building for 360 pupils was put into operation in Aliabad settlement of Zagatala district constructed on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, November 10.

 

At a ceremony held in this connection, Head of Zagatala district Executive Authority Asif Asgerov thanked President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCI Goodwill Ambassador, member of the Milli Majlis Mehriban Aliyeva for this nice present on behalf of all residents of Zagatala. Noting that large construction and development works are carried out in every corner of our republic and hundreds of thousands of new jobs have been created as a result of President Ilham Aliyev’s care and attention to the social and economic development of regions, the Head of the Executive Authority said residents of Zagatala have been active participants of this development process. He said every resident of Zagatala was greatly pleased with the historic visit by the Head of our State in April 2006 to  Zagatala.

 

President of the State Oil Company Rovnag Abdullayev congratulated the residents of the settlement on this significant event, underlined the company’s active participation in projects being implemented in our republic, and said a series of social objects are constructed for the company’s funds, including the Treatment and Diagnostics Centre being under construction and an Airport, which would be put into operation at the beginning of 2008.

 

After cutting the symbolic red ribbon, guests familiarized themselves with the new school building more closely. Constructed to the latest standards under a special design,  the three-storied new school building has 40 rooms, including 20 classrooms, subject rooms, 2 laboratories, a library, cafeteria, a physician’s room and assembly and sport halls. The school has been provided with a heating system and a stand-alone generator. A sport ground was made in the school yard meeting the latest standards.
