Children’s game complex under construction in Astrakhan with the support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Construction of the children’s game complex has started on the seafront of Privolzhsky creek. This is a gift of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the region’s center. 

Within the cooperation with Russia`s Astrakhan City Administration, Azerbaijani partners have already reconstructed School No.11, accomplished the public garden near the Freedom Square, and now build a bridge over the Privolzhsky creek. The next gift will be the children’s city.

The idea to create a children’s city in this public garden appeared a long time ago, when the Heydar Aliyev Foundation started the accomplishment of this territory. Now there is a well-groomed public garden with a fountain and flower-beds here. Azerbaijani partners jointly with the Astrakhan Mayor chose a place for children`s square. The main term is safety. The game complexes will be built behind the projection plant away from the road.

Preparation works are underway now. Total area of the complex is about 1200 sq.m. The game complex will be consisted of five grounds with swing, chutes and other entertaining facilities. The summer cafe is expected to be built also. Astrakhan residents believe families from other regions will also come here with their children.

The footbridge named after the friendship between Russia and Azerbaijan, which connects Heydar Aliyev Public Garden and Guzhvin Avenue, will also be built here. It will make this area even more popular.
