Delegation led by Alexander Andreyev, vice-president of Russian Sciences Academy visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, October 7.
Visitors sincerely met were informed of goals of the Foundation established as respect in memory of the national leader of Azerbaijani people. It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history.
Exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity left good impressions on visitors. They were familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person`s life and creating a wide idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented to him by the popular political figures all over the world, photos taken with leaders of different countries, books on great leader. They recalled with satisfaction the great contributions the outstanding statesman gave while acting as one of the heads of USSR Government in Moscow to lifting all the fields of science up to modern standards, develop its material and technical basis, settle organizational issues.
The delegates appreciated the valuable actions taken by the Foundation, led by First Lady of Azerbaijan Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva who got her education in Moscow, in field of science, culture, education and healthcare, big influence it possesses in the country and abroad.
President of Azerbaijan National Sciences Academy Mahmud Kerimov accompanied the guests.
