Delegation of Ministry of Culture and Information of Saudi Arabia visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Minister of Culture and Information of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Iyad ibn Emin al-Medeni and his delegation paying visit to Azerbaijan visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation on December 13.

Executive director of the Foundation Anar Elekberov greeted the visitors on behalf of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azeri Culture Friends Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP.

Visitors were familiarized with exhibition of the Foundation. Exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and rare documents covering his childhood, youth, university years, the very different eras of his activity, numerous photos reflecting the very various moments of genius person`s life and creating a wide idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented to him by the popular political figures all over the world, photos taken with leaders of different countries, books on great leader, ideas of outstanding figures of science, culture and art on the national leader left deep impressions on them. Visitors viewed with big interest pictures taken during events in different places of former USSR, in cities and districts of Azerbaijan, items in his office, photos of national leader with his parents, Zarifa Aliyeva, his lovely spouse, outstanding ophthalmologist, academician, children and grandchildren, as well photographs taken during Mecca pilgrimage.

The delegation was widely informed of objectives of the Foundation, charitable actions, projects it implements, its international links. They saw books, albums, audio and video CDs, school appliances released due to funds of the Foundation, were photographed in memory.

Minister of Culture and Information of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Iyad ibn Emin al-Medeni signed guest book of the Foundation. The distinguished guest was presented `Singers of Garabag` music album released by the Foundation.
