Delegation of Saudi Arabia`s General Organization for Social Insurance visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Chairman of Saudi Arabia`s General Organization for Social Insurance Suleiman Al-Humaid and his accompanying delegation visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, November 16.

The Foundation`s Chief Executive Anar Alakbarov informed the guests about the activity of the Foundation, established as respect in memory of the national leader of Azerbaijani people, and exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity. They were familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person`s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented to him by the popular political figures all over the world, books on great leader.

Visitors were impressed of meetings the national leader held with leaders of Eastern, Muslim countries, especially with King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in July 1994, photos taken in these meetings, as well information provided on Foundation`s activity, its projects and international links.

It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also implements wide-scale projects, gives contribution to realization of the national leader`s ideas.

Chairman of Saudi Arabia`s General Organization for Social Insurance Suleiman Al-Humaid signed guest book of the Foundation, honored the constructor of modern state of Azerbaijan, highly valued wide-scale activity of the Foundation.

The distinguished guest was presented book on activities of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and `Singers of Garabag` music album, containing samples of Azerbaijani mugham - unique pearl of Eastern music.

Suleiman Al-Humaid presented a souvenir to the Foundation.
