President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met with UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, ex-President of Iceland Vigdis Finnbogadottir

Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, met on May 14 at Gulustan Palace with UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, ex-President of Iceland Vigdis Finnbogadottir, who arrived in Baku to attend the UNESCO’s Regional Literacy Conference.

Mehriban Aliyeva thanked the guest for visiting Azerbaijan and attending the conference.

Mrs Finnbogadottir thanked Mehriban Aliyeva for hospitality and stressed the significance of the conference.

Mehriban Aliyeva informed about the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the large-scale projects the Foundation implements.
