An article by President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was published in Arabic in the second issue of the “IRS” magazine in Egypt

The second issue of the “IRS” magazine being published in the Arabic language following the joint initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Arab Republic of Egypt and  the editorial board of the “IRS-Heritage” devoted to May 28^th - the Day of Republic – has been printed.

An article by  Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva about the Garabagh school of mugham was published in this issue of the magazine.

In the article, the unique style and traditions of the Garabagh school of mugham, as an essential part of Azerbaijan’s mugham art, is described in detail.

The aim of the magazine is to inform the Arab world with the Azerbaijani people’s rich historical and cultural heritage, its art, literature, tourism capacity, contributions made to the Islamic civilization’s development, the aggression by Armenia against Azerbaijan and bitter outcomes of the occupation of 20 percent of our lands by Armenians.

In addition, articles by Firdovsiyye Ahmadova about the achievements of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, by Subhi Ahmadov about the history of formation of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, by Aydin Balayev about the historical roots of the Garabagh conflict, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Egypt Shahin Abdullayev about our country’s political and economic development model, as well as other articles about our ancient mosques, natural monuments, the life and creativity of Nizami Ganjavi and the numismatics art in Azerbaijan were printed in the magazine.

It is intended that the magazine, which is going to be disseminated in the whole Arab world, be printed on a regular basis.
