90th jubilee of national leader Heydar Aliyev was marked at Istanbul’s Chyraghan Palace
With organizational support from the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Turkish Republic, an event was held at Istanbul’s Chyraghan Palace to mark national leader Heydar Aliyev’s 90th jubilee.
The event was attended by employees of the Embassy, state and government representatives of Turkey, deputies, persons of science, public figures, representatives of art, Diaspora and mass media.
Representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey Samir Jafarov, Ambassador Faig Baghyrov and head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group Necdet Unuvar delivered a speech at the ceremony.
Congratulation letters of President of the Turkish Republic Abdullah Gul and 9th President of Turkey Suleyman Demirel were read.
Then participants of the event were given a dinner, and a book talking of Heydar Aliyev’s life and political activity and the “Diplo Atlas” magazine were distributed.
