President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the concert called “Stars of Sanremo Festivals in Baku”

On December 18, legendary Italian variety artists performed at Baku Crystal Hall with a concert program called “Stars of Sanremo Festivals in Baku”.

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the concert.

At a concert held with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, legendary variety artists of Italian music festivals held in 80s in the city of Sanremo - Al Bano, Toto Cutugno, Pupo, Riccardo Fogli, Tony Esposito, Umberto Tozzi, Maria Fiordaliso, Ivana Spagna, as well as famous Ricchi e Poveri and Matia Bazar groups performed their songs.

The concert was hosted by world-renowned Italian actress Ornella Muti, and Tural Asadov.

Famous Italian singer Toto Cutugno sang Azerbaijani popular song “Sary Gelin” in the Azerbaijani language.
