Heydar Aliyev Foundation hosts reception for heads of delegations of 42 countries participating in the Eurovision 2012

Reception was hosted on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in honor of the heads of delegations of the 42 countries participating in the Eurovision 2012 at the Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel in Bilgah settlement, Baku, 20 March.

Greeting the guests, spokesperson of the Foundation Kamran Kerimbeyov said Novruz Holiday is solemnly celebrated all around Azerbaijan today and we will have the next festival this May in Baku.

Addressing the event, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jan Ola Sand said heads of delegations of the countries participating in the Eurovision 2012 had a meeting in Baku these days. The meeting discussed the preparation to the Contest. Delegations of the 42 countries were informed of the corresponding places, hotels, Baku Chrystal Hall and show to be presented here and other preparation affairs.

Lots for 42 countries were cast in the meeting. The schedule of the performance of the countries in semifinal on May 22 and 24 and 6 countries in finale on May 26 was identified. 

Jan Ola Sand noted Azerbaijan has prepared a grandiose Eurovision show for May.

The event was continued with an entertaining music program.
