A festivity was held for orphans and children in need of special care in Garadagh district
A festivity was held, following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, for orphans and children in need of special care in Garadagh district, on the occasion of the 31st December – World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day - and the New Year holiday, December 28, 2013.
Speaking at the event, deputy head of the Garadagh District Executive Authority Zafar Aliyev talked of the care and attention shown by Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva towards children: “The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has implemented significant projects for children’s intellectual development and their growing up as healthy persons with high culture, and this job is becoming wider as time goes on.”
At the end of the event, which continued with a concert program, children were presented gifts.
