Winners of the “Best Presentation“ Contest are rewarded

A ceremony of rewarding the winners of the contest “Best Presentation”, organized on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, took place at Gulustan Palace, May 3.

 

Held among pupils of 9-11th forms of general education schools, the presentation contest was organized in joint collaboration between the Education Ministry, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the New Azerbaijan Party, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, and the Azerbaijan Education Workers Independent Trade Union’s Republic Committee.

 

First, the participants of the event, coming to the Alley of Honour, revered the memory of our people’s national leader Heydar Aliyev, and put flowers before his grave.

 

The event started with performing the state anthem of Azerbaijan.

 

A video footage dedicated to the contest “Best Presentation” was demonstrated then.

 

Education minister Mikail Jabbarov, deputy Prime Minister, deputy chairperson-executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov, chairperson of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Federation (ATUF), MP Sattar Mehbaliyev, and head of department at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Soltan Mammadov delivered a speech at the ceremony.

 

Then, according to the results of the contest “Best Presentation”, six persons were rewarded with a diploma of first degree, nine persons with a diploma of second degree and fifteen persons with a diploma of third degree, and 23 persons were honoured with honour certificates. Winners were given also different presents.

 

The event continued with performances of pupils from the Secondary Education Music School named after Bulbul and the Art Gymnasium under the National Conservatory.
