He mentioned that the Regional Development Public Union, established following the instruction of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, which embarked on its activity in March 2016, has been implementing projects to support the country’s social, economic and cultural development. Meeting people in rural areas, representatives of the organization receive information about the problems existing in various fields in regions directly from the source, acting in cooperation and building dialogue with state and municipal bodies towards their solution. Underscoring RDPU’s primary duty as carrying out the public control in the regions, Anar Alakbarov said the organization’s activities are supported by all state structures. According to him, various entities have been informed of RDPU’s authorities and duties in detail, and have been collaborating with the public union in solving appeals received from citizens.

Anar Alakbarov, drawing attention to the active role of the youth in projects so far implemented by RDPU, called on the Tartar district’s youth to join the activities of the public union and send information to RDPU concerning the issues requiring urgent attention, as well as initiatives being of significance to the district. Giving information about the works carried out for the period past, chairperson of the public union Mahammad Abdullayev noted that regional representative offices of RDPU have been established to date in Mountainous Shirvan, Guba-Khachmaz, Lankaran, Aran 1, Aran 2, Sheki-Zagatala and Ganja-Gazakh regions. Initiatives of the youth have been playing a significant role in successful implementation of RDPU projects.
