“Indji” Nursery-kindergarten is commissioned into operation after basic repair following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative

“Indji” Nursery-kindergarten in Mardakan settlement of Khazar district, Baku, repaired following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, was commissioned into operation, March 5.

 

First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration.

 

“Indji” Nursery-kindergarten started to operate in 1987. In 2011, by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the nursery-kindergarten was taken out of the State Oil Company’s governance and given to the Baku City Executive Authority. At the time, this preschool establishment operated in seven groups.

 

Becoming familiarized with the conditions created in the nusery-kindergarten, Mehriban Aliyeva was informed that repair works on the building started in July 2016. After the repair works, the number of groups was brought to 12. Now, a professional staff will be engaged in the education of 230 children, aged 2 to 6. Eight out of the twelve groups are related to the Azerbaijani section, four to the Russian. An English language group will function in the kindergarten as a circle. The kindergarten has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment. Video-surveillance and fire alarm system have been installed in the building.
