The Heydar Aliyev Foundation delivers Novruz presents to low-income families

Following the initiative of First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, presents are delivered to low-income families on the occasion of Novruz Holiday.


The project covers all families eligible to receive addressed social aid in the republic.


As of March 14, employees of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation have been delivering holiday presents to families eligible to receive addressed social aid in the regions and districts of Baku, congratulating them on the holiday.


Accepting the social direction as a priority area in their activities, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as a non-government organization, have been implementing various projects, supporting state programmes aiming at social and economic development. Along with children deprived of parental protection and those in need of special care, the Foundation has been paying close attention to low-income families, paying visits to them at various holidays, and significant days.


Following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, presents were delivered to all families receiving addressed social aid on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year in 2016, and Novruz Holiday in 2017, and holiday tables were laid for thousands of people in need of social aid, and presents given.


Along with contributing to the improvement of the citizen’s social welfare, these projects aim at taking care of low-income families, as well as making them experience a holiday mood at significant days.


Distribution of holiday presents by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will continue until March 19.
