First All-republican Conference of the Regional Development Public Association’s volunteers is held

On December 4, the First All-republican Conference of the Regional Development Public Association’s (RDPA) volunteers took place in the Heydar Aliyev Centre in Sheki.

Before the conference, participants of the conference became familiarized with an exhibition comprised of handicrafts of volunteers. Paintings and embroidery by the youth representing various regions of the country, including examples of ancient lattice art and works made of wastes were displayed at the exhibition. Among the exhibits are, at the same time, handicrafts of RDPA’s physically disabled volunteers.

The conference started with the show of a video on the Regional Development Public Association’s voluntary activities.

At the event, RDPA volunteers shared the experience they had gained with the audience, and presented new projects of the public association.

Those volunteers who have taken active part in the RDPA’s activities were awarded with certificates.

At the end of the event, an appeal by the participants of the first all-republican conference of the Regional Development Public Association volunteers to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was read.
