The Heydar Aliyev Foundation transfers money to the Foundation for Combatting Coronavirus and provides aid to institutions under its patronage

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation transferred 500 thousand Manats to the Foundation for Combatting Coronavirus as contribution to the measures taken by the state towards preventing the coronavirus from widely spreading in Azerbaijan.  

 

Moreover, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided support to a number of institutions under its patronage to combat the coronavirus. Following the instruction by First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, disinfectants, face masks and other protective means were allocated to nurseries and children’s homes, boarding schools in Baku and regions, the Social Service Institution for people who have reached the retirement age, the Child Psychoneurological Centre, as well as psychoneurological social service institutions in Baku and regions within the measures being taken to combat the coronavirus, and these institutions were disinfected, being provided necessary organizational support to apply the Rules of the Operational Staff under the Cabinet of Ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the regime of social distancing.

 

Moreover, in order to maximum limit contact of the service personnel at Social Service Institution for people who have reached the retirement age, where old people who are considered to be in the high-risk group in terms of contracting the virus are settled, The Foundation has organised a shift system for a long term.

 

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has so far provided masks, gloves, protective goggles, medical clothes and disinfectants to various medical institutions as a support to the activities of the Operational Staff under the Cabinet of Ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and support in this direction continues.
