The Heydar Aliyev Foundation delivers aids to lonely people over 65

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has launched social projects within the framework of the measure aiming to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. Due to that fact that the Operational Staff under the Cabinet of Ministers declared a special quarantine regime from 24 March to 20 April, and people over 65 of age were prohibited from going outside within these measures, volunteers of the Regional Development Public Association (RDPA) have been delivering aids to such lonely old people living in districts and cities all over the country.

Lonely citizens over 65 years of age are delivered gifts consisting of various food products during the special quarantine regime. The project also stipulates for provision of such services as purchase of medicines, as well as medical examination by physicians at homes.

During the quarantine regime, lonely citizens over 65 may call “150” – the hotline of RDPA on daily social services.
