Azerbaijan is represented at the international modern art festival Art Shopping Carrousel du Louvre

An international modern art festival Art Shopping was organized at Carrousel Gallery of the Louvre Museum in Paris. For the first time, Azerbaijan was represented in the Festival by a pavilion created with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, enjoying the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in France.

The Art Shopping Festival is among the most significant and the largest platforms in Europe to learn new challenges and new trends in modern art. Here, masters of art make their names known by building contacts with the most renowned curators and galleries of the world, presenting their artworks, and new ideas.

Artworks by artist Anar Huseynzadeh and sculptor Elvin Nabizadeh were presented at the pavilion. Visitors viewed a modern installation named “Under a Single Sun” by sculptor Elvin Nabizadeh and panels by artist Anar Huseynzadeh.

The installation “Under a Single Sun” made of 44 musical instruments Saz in the form of a rainbow is a symbol of multiculturalism and tolerance in Azerbaijan.

Through the artworks of Anar Huseynzadeh, one can become familiar with ancient Icherisheher, its unique narrow streets, and with native Absheron. His artworks from the series of “Cosmos” were for the first time presented to visitors at this Festival.
