A presentation dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to take place at the Heydar Aliyev Center

An event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Center on the eve of the National Salvation Day, June 14. 

Along with the 100th anniversary of the National Leader, the year 2023 coincides with the 30th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s return to power. Presentation of the installation “Heydar Aliyev – 100” will take place on the occasion of this  significant date. The work has been realized in the spirit of “op-art”, which has been widely spread in the area of international art since the 2nd half of the 20th century. A composition made of 100 columns in the course of 6 months creates a portrait of the National Leader. 

On the same day, a presentation of the album “Moments of a Great Man’s Life» will be held.  The photo-album was published within a joint project by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Heydar Aliyev Center, covering various periods of the National Leader’s life, and his political activity. 

The closing event of the evening will be the presentation of the film “İz” (“Mark”)made by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev. 

The screen work talks about the life and activities of the National Leader. The script of the film was built on the basis of speeches of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at different times. The life of the National Leader, his attachment to Azerbaijan and the people, strengthening of Azerbaijan as an independent state and consistent policy pursues towards liberation of Karabakh from the occupation have been reflected in the film. At the same time, the liberation of the occupied lands under the leadership of Azerbaijani President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, restoration of the republic’s territorial integrity, whereby realization of the wills of National Leader Heydar Aliyev are included in the film.
