Heydar Aliyev Center hosts series of presentations marking 100th anniversary of National Leader

On the eve of the National Salvation Day, the Heydar Aliyev Center has hosted an event, which featured a series of presentations dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.

The event also coincides with the 30th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s return to power. It featured an installation entitled “Heydar Aliyev-100”. The composition comprised of 100 poles created the portrait of Heydar Aliyev in the op-art style.

The event also featured a presentation of photo album entitled “The moments of life of great personality”.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and other officials attended the event.

Addressing the event, Director of the Heydar Aliyev Center Anar Alakbarov highlighted the importance of the event. He said that the photo album highlights moments of life and political activity of the National Leader.

People's Artist Farhad Khalilov shared his impressions about the installation entitled “Heydar Aliyev-100” and said: "This is a very beautiful, exemplary work. This work is worthy of Great Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and is a remarkable work of contemporary art."

Then the participants watched “Trace” documentary film, highlighting the life and activity of National Leader Heydar Aliyev as well as the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity under the leadership of Azerbaijani President, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
