Schools and kindergartens repaired by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation are commissioned

22 educational institutions, basically repaired and restored, as well as newly constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, will be commissioned in the new academic year.

19 schools and 3 preschool establishments will be presented to teachers and pupils in Baku city and regions on the eve of the Day of Knowledge, September 15.

Due to the existing buildings of these educational institutions becoming unfit for use, new buildings were constructed for 17 secondary schools and 2 kindergartens, while the buildings of 3 schools and preschool institutions were basically repaired.

Consequently, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, led by First Vice-president of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, having supported the policy pursued by the state in the field of education, has made its contribution to bringing up more knowledgeable young generation and providing them with better education.

From the very first day of its establishment, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been implementing various projects and programmes in the field of education.  Primary objective of the Foundation’s programme “New schools for new Azerbaijan” is to provide support to solving existing problems in education, create education complexes within the country that would meet contemporary standards, and remove problems having direct impact on the level of education. Educational institutions are provided with visual aids within the programme “Support to Education” of the Foundation in order to improve the quality of education.
