A new school building is constructed in Ashaghy Oysuzlu village of Tovuz

As the Secondary School named after A.Huseynov in Ashaghy Oysuzlu village of Tovuz district was constructed in 1930, it was unfit for use. Within the framework of its programme “New School for New Azerbaijan”, the Heydar Aliyev constructed a new school building for 360 pupils in Ashaghy Oysuzlu village and commissioned for use by teachers and pupils in the academic year 2023-2024.

The three-storied school is comprised of three buildings. The education institution has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment, with subject rooms and laboratories  being equipped with visual aids in the framework of the programme of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation “Support to Education”.

Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the school’s backyard.
