Graduates of the Chinese language courses organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation are presented certificates
Graduates of the Chinese language courses, organized within the framework of joint cooperation between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC), were presented certificates.
Speaking at the event, department chief of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Soltan Mammadov emphasized that close cooperation was built from the first day of the project between the Chinese Embassy in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan State Economic University. The project was realized following the initiative of Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. There are quite a number of students willing to learn the Chinese language. I believe that there will be more projects of this kind in the future, and cooperation between Azerbaijan and China will advance further. 50 students have successfully finished several courses”, - added S.Mammadov.
Chinese ambassador to Azerbaijan Mrs. Guo Min said that an agreement has been reached on teaching the Chinese language in a number of secondary schools in Azerbaijan, envisaging to continue such projects at universities. Wishing successes to the graduates of the Chinese language courses, Mrs. Guo Min said they would contribute to the expansion of relations between two countries in the future.
It was underscored that the Chinese language courses have covered the years 2019 to 2022. Having participated in these course, 35 students mastered the abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the Chinese languages.
The number of people interested in learning the Chinese language is growing across the world. Due to the successes achieved by China in recent years, the Chinese language has entered the list of most spoken languages in the world.
Partners of the Chinese language courses project are UNEC, the Confucius Institute under the Azerbaijan University of languages and the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
Certificates were presented to the graduates at the end of the ceremony.
