A joint pavilion of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Sıfır Atık Foundation – A Solidarity HUB at COP29 – will be presented at the Green Zone of COP29, which will take place from November 11 to November 22 this year.
Thus, the two foundations of Azerbaijan and Türkiye are going to join their efforts towards sustainability and social development at the 29th Conference of Parties of the United Nations’ Framework Convention for Climate Change.
The Green Zone at COP 29 is a space where various interested parties – state and private sectors, NGOs, a vast auditorium of participants covering media representatives and official representatives of the Blue Zone – come together.
Contributing to various spheres of the society, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Sıfır Atık Foundation aim also at creating sustainable solutions. The joint project being implemented within the framework of COP29 underlines the activities of both foundations concerning the environment and social responsibility.
Along with the projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in such spheres as education, healthcare, social and cultural issues, the Foundation’s initiatives towards preserving the environment have been welcomed by the society, due to their efficiency. The activity in this sphere will be presented within the framework of the pavilion functioning at COP29. An interactive zone related to the projects in the spheres of education, healthcare and social matters will be created.
The Sıfır Atık Foundation will, on this platform, present their projects on the efficiency of resources, waste management and recycling, as well as their programmes and innovative solutions aiming to enlighten on the protection of the environment.
