Publications about Azerbaijan are presented to the Beijing University of Foreign Languages

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented publications about Azerbaijan to the Beijing University of Foreign Languages.

Representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Soltan Mammadov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to China Bunyad Huseynov and Vice-chancellor of the Beijing University of Foreign Languages Gao Gang participated in the book presentation ceremony. 

From the very first day of establishing the Azerbaijani language department at the university, it has been in the focus of attention of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. So far, the Foundation has presented over 500 books to the university. In addition, visits of young Azerbaijani scholars to the Beijing University of Foreign Languages was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. It was underscored at the meeting that the close cooperation between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the University has made great contribution to deepening of the relations between the two countries, making our peoples know each other more closely. The importance of continuing the mutual support to the teaching of the Chinese language in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani language in China, advancement of the relations between the education institutions of the two countries, as well as organization of mutual visits of the youth was underscored.  

It was noted that signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Beijing University of Foreign Languages and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is expected within the framework of the visit by the BFRU’s vice-chancellors to Azerbaijan in October this year.
