President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva awarded First Lady 2004 Prize

The Board of the Ankara Business Women Society has decided to award First Lady 2004 Prize to spouse of the Azerbaijani President, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva.

The letter Chairman of the Board Serpil Tynaz Akchar has sent on this occasion to the Embassy says that Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva has been awarded the Prize for her tireless activities aiming to enhance cooperation and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkey, propagation and safeguarding of Azerbaijani culture and art, for her efforts as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador towards solving problems of women, children and old people, as well as protection of woman`s rights in a family, society, at work and political life.
