Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation
On May 24 President of Kazakhstan Republic Nursultan Nazarbayev attended Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and President of Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyev sincerely welcomed Kazakh leader.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev and delegation members were informed on goals of Foundation established as a sign of respect in memory of nationwide leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. It was stated that major goals of Foundation are to study and popularize rich heritage of President Heydar Aliyev, create obvious impression in future generations, guests on his large-scale activity directed to social-economic, cultural development of Azerbaijan, support implementation of international projects author of which is genius personality, assist to works done in field of wide propaganda of Azerbaijani culture and history.
President Ilham Aliyev widely talked to distinguished guest about exhibits taken from personal archive of nationwide leader and covering different periods of his activity.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev and members of Kazakh delegation were familiarized with numerous photos reflecting very different moments of life of phenomenal personality Heydar Aliyev and creating wide impression of an entire period of Azerbaijani history, gifts presented by popular political figures of the world, books on our great leader. Nursultan Nazarbayev was acquainted with views of famous figures of politics, science, culture and art of the world on founder of state of Azerbaijan, saw with great interest photographs he was taken with nationwide leader in different meetings, as well his pictures with leaders of European, Asian countries.
After being familiarized with Foundation, Kazakh President wrote warm words in Kazakh language in honor book: "Mmeory of Heydar Aliyev will always live in heart of people. He devoted all his life to welfare of his people, revival of his nation and possessed eternality".
President Nursultan Nazarbayev presented the model of the monument symbolizing freedom of his country to President of Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva.
