Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexy II visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexy II and the persons accompanying him visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation on September 14. 

Alexy II was first familiarized with exhibition and exposition of the Foundation as a sign of respect in memory of national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. Executive director of the Foundation Anar Elekberov gave detailed information to the guests on the photographs taken personal archive of national leader and covering the separate periods of his activity.

The distinguished guest and persons accompanying him viewed with big interest the numerous pictures reflecting the very different moments of life of phenomenal personality Heydar Aliyev and creating a wide imagination of an entire era of Azerbaijani history, gifts presented to him by the world-famous political figures, books on great leader, his photos taken with leaders of various countries, figures of science, art and culture. Photos reflecting his unforgettable meetings with great personality Heydar Aliyev during his 2001 visit to Baku created a special delight in Alexy II.

Alexy II noted he was aware of the charitable activity of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO, highly valued this.

The distinguished guest wrote down sincere words in honor book of the Foundation.

Alexy II and other guests were taken photo for memory and left the Foundation under pleasant impression.

Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia were accompanied by chief of Caucasian Muslims Department, sheikhulislam hajji Allahshukur Pashazade, state advisor on national policy affairs Hidayat Orujov, bishop of Baku and Caspian region Farther Alexander.
