Heydar Aliyev Foundation gives Iftar parties on Ramadan holiday in Azizbeyov district
Iftar parties were arranged on Ramadan Holiday in Turkan, Zira, Bina and Shuvalan settlements of Azizbeyov district of Baku on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, presents were given.
First Iftar parties were arranged in Turkan and Bina settlements on behalf of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP.
Resident of Bina settlement hajji Sarvan Aliyev said arranging Iftar parties by Heydar Aliyev Foundation on sacred Ramadan Holiday has become a tradition. ‘We are covered with care and attention all the year long, not only in Ramadan Holiday. Reconstruction works have been intensified in our settlement last years. Roads have been repaired, water supply improved.’ he said.
Highly assessing works done in the settlement director of Music School 24 Faig Aliyev noted action of Heydar Aliyev Foundation is specially significant in Azizbeyov district. ‘Construction of secondary power plants in our settlement, works done in field of education and healthcare were highly evaluated by residents. A club, library and music school are under construction in our settlement due to efforts of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva.’ he stressed.
Director of School 136 Hazarkhan Abilov, one of famous intellectuals of the settlement, said ‘Care by President Ilham Aliyev and Heydar Aliyev Foundation for education is invaluable. Charity works realized in our settlement by Mehriban Aliyeva are countless. Launch of new secondary school meeting world standards is evidence to this. Nearly 1500 pupils study at the School. 6 new buildings were built and commissioned in all schools of the settlement. We have right to call Mehriban Aliyeva the mother of education in Azerbaijan for all these works. She has possessed this title for works she has done. Giving Iftar party at this wonderful wedding palace is sign of care and attention towards us. We are glad for having President like Ilham Aliyev and MP like Mehriban Aliyeva.’
Iftar party in Shuvalan settlement was given in 2 days separately for men and women.
Residents emphasized large reconstruction works implemented in the settlement on the initiative of President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, mentioned gas, light, water lines were replaced with underground lines, hospital repaired, roads asphalted, 2 new school buildings launched.
Big care by state of Azerbaijan to the religion was highly valued, construction of mosques, religious temples recalled.
Iftar party given at Juma Mosque in Zira settlement involved 250 people. Highly assessing careful attitude on religious values residents expressed satisfaction of implementation of wide reconstruction works in the district using opportunities of rapid economic development in the country. They said due to care and attention of President Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva the look of Azizbeyov district is changing. Modern educational, medical and cultural centers, sports bases, new rest centers are operating in the district.
On Ramadan Holiday, Heydar Aliyev Foundation provided 2,5 tons of food to poor families and boarding schools in settlements of Azizbeyov district.
