An event on the occasion of the International Day of the Disabled

With joint organizational support from the State Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Family, Woman and Child Issues, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Nizami District Executive Authority, an event was held, on the occasion of the International Day of the Disabled, at the Rehabilitation Centre for People with Down Syndrome located in the Nizami district.

The purpose of holding this event was to provide moral and material support to children with restricted ability, and bestow upon them a festive mood and draw the public’s attention to such people.

Members of the “Dejeller” theatre operating under the Association of People with Down Syndrome made a show called “Soap Bubbles” for children in need of special care.
