Heydər Əliyev Fondu “Buta” sarayında uşaqlar üçün bayram şənliyi təşkil edib

Heydar Aliyev Foundation hold New Year celebrations at Buta Palace for children from children homes and boarding schools, martyr, refugee and IDP families, orphans, children deprived of parental care and distinguished in education. 

Mehriban Aliyeva, Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, together with her daughters Leila and Arzu attended a festivity, talked to children and were photographed with them, December 29.

Film talking of participation of national leader Heydar Aliyev in different years in children’s celebrations on World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year, the care by President Ilham Aliyev and Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva to children was shown first.

Then, Santa Claus lighted the New Year Tree with a ‘magic pipe’.

In the party, actors did their best to cheer children whose faces reflected feeling of gratitude to Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its president Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for presenting this wonderful festivity to them. Majority of participants was children from refugee and IDP families, living at children homes and boarding schools, needing daily care.

Kids were entertained by famous singers, amateur bands of schools, dancing groups, young talents, clowns and magicians.

Children and parents were delighted of a warm reception by employees of the Foundation.

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban ALIYEVA addressed the celebration:

Dear children, dear parents and dear teachers,

I cordially congratulate you on the New Year. I am very happy for sharing New Year joy with you this year too. I see smile and joy on the face of children. I wish you always to smile, to be happy.

New Year differs from all other holidays. This is the most favorite holiday to kids. And to me. Usually people celebrate New Year with natives, family members. Today I am very happy for sharing this festivity with you, with children who are native to me. 

Coming today to this palace, the head of our state, President Ilham Aliyev assigned me to give you his congratulations, greetings and love.

Today, all circumstances have been created for you in Azerbaijan. I hope you will study well, receive a nice upbringing, grow up healthy and always make your parents happy with your successes.

These days children all over the world celebrate New Year holiday. Being Heydar Aliyev Foundation we also tried to change this holiday into a real celebration for you. This is why we so marvelously decorated this grand palace and invited you here. I hope you are satisfied from this party. I want to congratulate you twice. New Year holiday has another characteristic. Usually people, both adults and children make a wish in the New Year night. I wish all your dreams to come true in the New Year. I once again sincerely congratulate you all, wish you health, success and happiness. Thank you.

Children expressed gratitude to President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for the care on behalf of children of Azerbaijan and were photographed with her.

Every kid was made a New Year present by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

To assure safety of 2000 children attending the Foundation’s New Year parties, necessary measures have been taken upon recommendation by First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, 12 buses allocated to take children to Buta Palace.
