Festivities in the cities of Izmir and Eskisheher on the occasion of Gurban Bayram

Turkish Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has organized festivities for Azerbaijani students studying in the cities of Izmir and Eskisehir on the occasion of the Holy Gurban Bayram.

Organized by the Foundation, sacrificial animals were cut in both the cities and distributed among students and local families.

The congratulation of Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was conveyed to attendees of the event. Then, speeches by representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora and heads of various non-governmental organizations followed.

Both the events were attended by Azerbaijani students studying in Turkey, students from other foreign countries, professors of influential universities, and representatives of the local society.
