An article was printed in French newspaper “Le Perche” about the humanitarian aid provided by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in France for restoration of a number of cultural monuments. It is said in the article: “The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, headed by the First Lady of a Caucasian country rich in oil, has also contributed to restoration of a number of cultural monuments around the world”.

The sayings of Senator Natalie Goulet about our country were also included in the article. The senator  emphasized the successful policy pursued by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the country cultural sphere, and financial aid provided for numbering of books at Vatican and restoration of a part of  the showcase at the Strasbourg Cathedral.

Natalie Goulet said their appeal to the Foundation with regard to restoration of organic music instruments was approached with attention and financial aid was provided to this end, and described this as a fact attesting to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the cultural area.

In the article, allocation by a Muslim country of financial aid on initiative of a senator of Jewish descent to restoration of a Christian temple is described as a sign of development of intercultural dialogue.
