“Nice Matin” newspaper of France writes about the Days of Azerbaijani Culture to be held in Cannes
An article entitled “Rich culture of Azerbaijan” has been published in the July 4th issue of “Nice Matin” newspaper being printed in the south region of France.
The newspaper states that Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and Mayor of the city of Cannes Bernard Brochand will attend the inauguration of the Days of Culture. Four exhibitions of different contents will be demonstrated within the framework of the event. On the first day, residents of Cannes will have a chance to view the exhibition devoted to Azerbaijan’s modern art. And in the evening, fireworks will be organized in honour of Azerbaijan.
It is also noted in the article that inauguration of the exhibition entitled “Cultural Treasures of Azerbaijan – the Pearl of the Caucasus”, a project by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, will take place at famous Palace of Festivals of the city, and will continue until July 20th, the Azerbaijan State Orchestra will perform at Debussi Theatre on July 6th with a large concert program and the movie “Arshyn mal alan” shown on July 7th. On the same day, national dances of Azerbaijan will also be performed.
Bringing to the attention that the French audience will have a chance to closely familiarize themselves with Azerbaijan’s Jazz music, the newspaper stated that President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva will attend the concert.
The newspaper further writes that residents of Cannes will, for the first time, have a chance to receive comprehensive information about the Azerbaijani culture.
