French mass media writes about the international conference devoted to Nizami Ganjavi in Strasbourg

“Les dernières nouvelles d'Alsace” newspaper, a central press organ of the Alsace region of France, printed an article about the conference devoted to Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi on February 14 in Strasbourg. 

 

In an article entitled “Nizami Ganjavi’s perception of love”, it is talked about Nizami Ganjavi’s love philosophy. Referring to the thoughts expressed by Teymour Kerimli, acting director of the Manuscripts Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, in his speech on the theme of “Nizami Ganjavi’s perception of love”, the author writes: “Perception of love has been the philosophy and concept of the Nizami Ganjavi world. Love is a principle of nature. According to Nizami Ganjavi, love is a universal form of contact between the living beings. This is a language between living beings and the nature. It is also a very strong means of mutual education. According to the poet genius, love between a man and a woman is formed based on mutual respect and sympathy, and leads to mutual perfection.”

 

Thoughts expressed by Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France Elchin Amirbeyov at the conference were also included in the article.
