Italian “Uni mondo” portal writes about the restoration works carried out by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on Roman Catacombs

An article has been placed on Italian “Uni mondo” portal about the restoration works carried out following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative on Holy Roman catacombs.

The author states that an agreement on restoration of the Roman catacombs that are considered among the essential historical monuments of Italy and have long needed restoration was signed between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Holy See two years ago in Rome. With information about the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, headed by Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the article states that one of the priority issues in the Foundation’s activity is promotion of Azerbaijan in the world.

“High level of religious tolerance is dominating in Azerbaijan, which has very good relations with the West”, - states the author.
